_The Delhi Police in its endeavor to check crimes against people from the Northeastern states living in the national capital have come up with a policy to recruit male and female people from the region. This is aimed to bridge the communication gap between the cops and the people and also sensitize them about the cultural practices of Northeast. Every year, many people from the Northeast come to the national capital for better opportunities in education and employment. From 2014 till 2017, about 2,700 crimes were reported, where people from Northeast were victims, according to www.indiatoday.in_
_The Delhi Police have released the advertisement for special recruitment drive for natives of Manipur for the post of temporary Constable (Executive) Male/Female. Altogether 44 Male candidates and 21 Female candidates who are natives and having domicile of Manipur will be recruited in the pay scale of PB-I Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- (Revised pay scale of Rs.21700-69100 after the 7th Pay .CPC Pay matrix level -03) and other allowances as admissible. The Vacancy for ST Candidates stands at Male-13 and Female-06 respectively. Recruitment will be conducted at Imphal only._
_For residents of Churachandpur & Pherzawl District , Application Form can be obtained free of cost from the Office of the Superintendent of Police (SP, Churachandpur) from tomorrow i.e 6th October 2018 between 10 AM to 3PM .The last date of receipt of application form will be 31/10/2018 upto 5pm. Application received thereafter will not be entertained._
