Imphal, October 03, 2018: Nikhil Kumar Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC Ltd made a maiden visit to Loktak Power Station during 29th September to 02nd October,2018.He was given warm welcome by all employees of Loktak PS lead by Shri K.T.Rajah Pandian, Chief Engineer (E) .
In his maiden visit, he inspected all the vital components / installation of Loktak PS such as Power House at Leimatak, Ithai Barrage at Ithai and other water conducting systems of Power Station.
Jain inquired about the CSR & SD activities carried out by the Power Station and taken note of the several other issues of the Power Station like recreation facilities and welfare of the employees etc. He also interacted with the local administration.
He laid foundation stone for Childrens Park and planted tree saplings in the Administrative & Township Complex of Loktak PS at Loktak.
Shri K.T.Rajah Pandian, CE (E), Loktak PS appraised the activities and achievements of the Power Station.
In his address Shri Nikhil Kumar Jain praised for the Power Station overall performance and morale of the team.
He appealed to all employees to maintain the Standard Operating Procedures for all important and vital concern related to work and safety.
