Tengnoupal District Police led by Additional SP, Tengnoupal

Today i.e., 19/09/2018 at around 5:00 am, a team of Tengnoupal District Police led by Additional SP, Tengnoupal Kh. Robinsun, assisted by Imphal East District Police under the supervision of Dr S. Ibomcha Singh, SP Tengnoupal arrested  one mastermind of Rohingya Muslim traficking along with his wife who have been absconding since 1st May, 2018 namely  1) Mr Rashid Ali @ Nasir Ali @ Laloo Bhaiya(51 yrs) s/o Md. Jamaruddin originally from Uttar Pradesh a/p Yairipok Ningthounai Sabal Leikai was arrested from Yairipok Ningthounai Sabal Leikai and his wife 2) Ms Khulakpam Tahir Begum  in c/w the FIR No. 34(5)2018 MRH/PS U/S 370/465/468/471 IPC and 14 Foreigner's Act. They were involved in trafficking of four Rohingya Muslims including one lady in connection with the aforesaid FIR through one Mr. Takhellambam Gobin Singh who were arrested on 01/05/2018 in c/w this case. Gobin in his earlier statement  disclosed that as instructed by the couple,  he transported Rohingya Muslims 5/6 times to Moreh.
Following items were seized from his possession:
1) Two mobile phones
2) One PAN card in the name of Md. Rashid Ali
3) One election ID card in the name of Md. Rashid Ali
4) One Aadhar card in the name of Md. Rashid Ali
5) One ATM VISA card of Syndicate Bank. We are trying to discover his nexus,  funding etc.
