RCIED means Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device

In a possibly related  incident a loud blast sound was heard from across the border by villagers along the indo Myanmar border in the Kamjong dist yesterday night at around 9 .30 PM. The huge blast seemed to have taken place in a village called aungjiya across BP 97.
2. As per reports being received from across the border,  the blast took place in a PLA Camp. Locals have said that some cadres of PLA were preparing a huge IED to cause maximum damage and unprecedented mayhem inside Manipur in the run-up to their raising day. As per the villagers from nearby houses there was a huge explosion in the house where the PLA cadres were staying at around 9pm on Tuesday. It is being suspected that the IED which these cadres were preparing to kill a large number of innocents,  accidentally exploded,  killing at least three of the PLA men on the spot and seriously injured two others who are battling for their life in a nearby hospital. The reports of the explosion have also been received from various intelligence agencies Operating in the region.
Names of dead cadres of PLA  are
(i)  SS Pvt Mangba
(ii)  SS Pvt Shyam Singh
(iii)  SS Pvt Nandu
