Immediate medical assistance was provided by the medical team of Shangshak Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles to six children of Shangshak village who met with an accident near Change Junction. The gypsy in which all the children were travelling, toppled on a sharp turn resulting in multiple fractures of limbs, cut wounds and lacerated injuries. The injured children were brought by the villagers to the Unit hospital of Shangshak Battalion in a critical condition where they were provided with medical attention and aid to stabilize their condition.
