As the crackdown against illegal movement of people in border areas takes a strong hold, instances of arrests and many people getting detained are on the rise. In a similar incident, it has come to light that eighteen Rohingyas were arrested from Teliamura in Khowai district of Tripura this afternoon.

They were en route on an Assam bound bus. The matter is under investigation.
