HON’BLE VICE PRESIDENT OF INDIA SHRI M. VENKAIAH NAIDU ARRIVES IN IMPHAL
Imphal, April 18, 2018 (DIPR): Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Imphal today to grace the Valedictory function of the State Level Workshop on “Biodiversity and Sustainable Agriculture for Doubling of Farmers’ Income” which will be held at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound.
The Indian Air Force Plane Rajhans carrying the Vice President landed at the Imphal International Airport at 13:50 pm.
On his arrival at the airport, Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu was accorded warm welcome led by the Governor of Manipur, Dr. Najma Heptulla, Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri N. Biren Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Y. Joykumar Singh, Works Minister Shri Thongam Biswajit Singh, Health Minister Shri L. Jayantakumar Singh, CAF and PD Minister Shri Karam Shyam, TA & Hills Minister Shri N. Kayisii, MAHUD Minister Th. Shyamkumar, PHED Minister Shri Losii Dikho, Agriculture Minister Shri V. Hangkhanlian, Social Welfare Minister Smt Nemcha Kipgen, MP Rajya Sabha Shri K. Bhabananda Singh, Chief Secretary, Dr. J. Suresh Babu, DGP Shri L.M. Khaute, Secretary to CM, Shri Ashok Kumar and other top police and civil officers.
The Joint Battalion of Manipur Rifles and Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) commanded by Deputy Commandant of 7th Battalion Manipur Rifles H. Gyaneshwar Singh presented the Guard of Honour to the Vice President at Raj Bhavan, Imphal.
The Vice President of India is visiting Manipur on his three-day tour program to Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur. (DIPR)

#BSF Organizes Free Medical Camp & Distributes Sports Items and Sewing Machine #The 54 battalion BSF under the Aegis of Sector Headquarters Border Security Force, Koirengei  Conducted a free medical camp at Veterinary Ground of Pioneer Club, Wangjing Hodamba in AOR of CI-Post Wangjing on 4 October. Medical Officer and Supporting staff from 54 Bn BSF and PHC Wangjing attended and provided free health checkup to more than 100 patients and also distributed free medicines. The medical camp and Distributes Sports Items and Sewing Machine to Civilians is a part of series of civic action programme being organised by the battalion.
