*ITANAGAR, April 19, 2018:* Four ENGG operatives along with an over-ground worker were apprehended by the Security forces in a major operation in Miao town in Changlang district on Tuesday.
Acting on intelligence input, the Jairampur battalion of the Assam Rifles under the Dao division arrested four ENGG operatives and an over-ground worker including self-styled major Thaimong Mossang and Awang Hodung.
On being challenged by the security forces, the militants tried to flee but were chased and overpowered.
The militants were trying to terrorize and carry out recruitment activities in Miao.
During interrogation, all the militants admitted allegiance to ENGG outfit.
